Ahmet Gürlek is an accomplished executive leader with over two decades of strategic and operational expertise in the customs and logistics industry. Born in Ankara in 1979, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Middle East Technical University and completed his MBA at TOBB University of Economics and Technology.

Mr. Gürlek began his career at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) before joining Customs and Tourism Enterprises Co. (GTİ) in 2005 as the company’s first employee. Demonstrating visionary leadership and a commitment to operational excellence, he played a pivotal role in building the company’s organizational infrastructure and expanding its service portfolio. Over the years, he progressed through key leadership roles, ultimately being appointed General Manager in April 2025.

Known for his strategic foresight, results-driven management style, and dedication to fostering high-performing teams, Mr. Gürlek has been instrumental in driving sustainable growth, improving organizational efficiency, and upholding the highest standards of corporate ethics and governance.

He is married with two children and is fluent in English.
