At Hamzabeyli Border Gate, GTİ has established a modern and secure waiting area for truck drivers who have to wait for extended periods to overcome queues and complete procedures. Inaugurated in 2019 with a capacity of 800 trucks, the Hamzabeyli Truck Park not only contributes to fuel savings for trucks but also provides a solution to the issues related to continuous operation and rest required by the tachograph system.

Covering an area of 110,000 square meters and adopting a principle of compatibility with high technology, GTİ ensures sequential entry and exit of trucks at the Border Gate through an integrated queue number system that operates in conjunction with the Customs Directorate using smart cards distributed at the entrance. Truck drivers can obtain their exit queue through kiosks located in the parking area and easily monitor parking space and exit notifications. The truck park is equipped with various service areas using modern technology to cater to all needs of drivers, including dining areas, a supermarket, a currency exchange office, ATMs, showers, restrooms, a resting room, a mosque, a barber shop, and a permit sales office.
