In 2019, GTİ initiated the operation of the Hamzabeyli Truck Park to create a modern and secure waiting area for truck drivers who were previously forced to wait for long periods along the road to bypass queues and complete their procedures at the Hamzabeyli Border Gate. The establishment of this park has not only contributed to fuel savings for trucks but has also provided a solution to the issue of working and resting times connected to tachographs.

As of 2023, the Truck Park, which has been expanded to an area of 255,000 square meters and has reached a capacity of 850 trucks, ensures the orderly entry and exit of trucks to the Border Gate through an integrated queue number system that collaborates with the Customs Directorate. Smart cards provided at the entrance facilitate the sequential entry and exit of trucks. Truck drivers can obtain their exit sequence via kiosks located in the parking area and easily monitor parking availability and exit notifications. Additionally, the Truck Park is equipped with various service areas utilizing modern technology to meet the diverse needs of truck drivers, including dining areas, a supermarket, a currency exchange office, ATMs, showers, restrooms, a resting room, a mosque, a barber shop, and a permit sales office.
