Nusaybin Customs Directorate was modernized as a Border Gate by GTİ in 2012. However, due to the internal turmoil in the neighboring country Syria and security reasons leading to the suspension of crossings between the two countries, the facility was only made operational as an internal customs directorate, allowing for the use of commercial vehicles solely for customs procedures.
Nusaybin Customs Directorate, situated on an area of 76,000 square meters, consists of a total of 4 platforms for trucks, with 2 entry and 2 exit lanes, and 2 platforms for cars and buses, with 1 entry and 1 exit lane each.
