Çıldır Aktaş Border Gate
Çıldır Aktaş Border Gate is Türkiye's gateway to Georgia, serving as the third border crossing to Georgia with Türkgözü and Sarp Border Gates. Modernized by GTİ and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the Çıldır Aktaş Border Gate covers an area of 75,000 square meters. Due to its strategic location, it holds contextual significance in facilitating transportation to Tbilisi, Baku, and consequently, Central Asia. This border gate offers a shorter route to Tbilisi and Baku compared to other border crossings, thus alleviating some of the burden on the Sarp Border Gate.
The modernization of the Çıldır-Aktaş Border Gate has facilitated access to new markets for the provinces in the region and contributed to the development of foreign trade volume.
