Habur Border Gate is Türkiye's gateway to Iraq and the Middle East. Modernized by GTİ in 2006 and occupying an area of 339,000 square meters, the Habur Border Gate serves as one of the most crucial stops for trade between Middle Eastern countries, Türkiye, and Europe. The renovated facilities were completed in the first half of 2021 and opened for service at full capacity.

At the border gate, there are a total of 18 platforms with 9 entrances and 9 exits for trucks, providing a swift and comfortable passage experience. For passengers, there are 6 platforms with 3 entrances and 3 exits, ensuring a similarly efficient transit experience.

At Habur Border Gate, there are Duty-Free shops, dining areas, a supermarket, a post office (PTT), and an insurance agency. Additionally, there are areas where passengers can fulfil their personal needs such as restrooms and prayer rooms. Modern Duty-Free shops, positioned separately for passengers and trucks, provide guests with the opportunity to shop and enjoy pleasant moments in restaurants and cafes.

Moreover, it contributes to improving the quality of life for the local community in the region.
