Çıldır Aktaş Border Gate is Türkiye's gateway to Georgia, serving as the third border crossing to Georgia after Türkgözü and Sarp Border Gates. Modernized by GTİ and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the Çıldır Aktaş Border Gate covers an area of 76,000 square meters. Due to its strategic location, it holds contextual significance in facilitating transportation to Tbilisi, Baku, and consequently, Central Asia. This border gate offers a shorter route to Tbilisi and Baku compared to other border crossings, thus alleviating some of the burden on the Sarp Border Gate.

Thanks to the Çıldır-Aktaş Border Gate, access to new markets has been shortened for the provinces in the region, contributing to the expansion of foreign trade volume.
