Kapıköy Border Gate, strategically located on the historic Silk Road, serves as Türkiye's border crossing to neighboring countries, facilitating the flow of trade and passengers between East and West. Modernized by GTİ, this newly renovated facility began operations in 2019, designed with an architectural approach aimed at providing faster and more efficient service for both passenger and truck crossings. Covering a total area of 70,465 m², the border gate offers safe and comfortable passage with 4 platforms for TIR crossings (2 entry and 2 exit) and 2 platforms for cars and buses (1 entry and 1 exit). A lodging building with 100 apartments is available for public personnel working at the gate.

In addition to efficient border operations, Kapıköy Border Gate enhances the traveler experience with modern Duty-Free shops, food and beverage areas, and cafes. Guests can also enjoy tax-free shopping and benefit from a range of services designed for their convenience. With its upgraded infrastructure, Kapıköy Border Gate not only boosts trade between Türkiye and its neighboring countries but also improves passenger satisfaction, creating a more streamlined and efficient border crossing experience.
