Kapıköy Border Gate
Kapıköy Border Gate is located on the Historic Silk Road, which connects the East and the West, serving as Türkiye's gateway. With an architectural approach aimed at providing faster and more efficient service for passenger and truck crossings, the facility underwent modernization by GTİ and reopened in 2019.
Spread over an area of 81,000 square meters, Kapıköy Border Gate provides a secure and comfortable passage for both passengers and vehicles. For trucks, there are 4 platforms with 2 entrances and 2 exits, while for passengers, there are 2 platforms with 1 entrance and 1 exit. Additionally, guests have the opportunity to shop at modern Duty-Free stores, enjoy dining at restaurants and cafes, and avail themselves of tax-free services within the border gate premises.
The renovated border gate enables an increase in trade volume between the two countries, thanks to enhanced passenger satisfaction and improved trade opportunities.
