International Activities

GTİ is giving assistance to the international organizations such as UNECE and OSCE for their projects “The Revitalization of the Historical Silk Road” regarding the border gates. GTİ has proven its leading position in its area by taking place in the preparation of “Handbook of Best Practices at Border Crossings – A Trade and Transport Facilitation Perspective” which is a joint work of UNECE and OSCE.

Increased efficiency and reduced waiting period after modernization and GTI’s part in this process were mentioned in one article published in Security Community Journal by Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, where modernized Sarp Border Gate is cited as an example in terms of border crossing.
